PREMIUM SERVICE CONTRACT: All inclusive plan that covers costs associated with maintaining your instrumentation.
- One scheduled, preventative maintenance per calendar year: A JBI Scientific representative will inspect, re calibrate your instrument, verify performance of sub-assemblies, and electro-mechanical components, and check that the instrument is performing to OEM specifications.
- Telephone/email support: You will be provided with a contact phone number and email address for technical support concerning your instrument’s electrical and mechanical functioning. The Purchaser is responsible to assist in telephone diagnosis and minor parts replacement. All parts are provided by JBI Scientific.
- In house service for repair of your instrumentation.
- Major parts failure from normal wear are covered free of charge (lasers, power supplies, detectors, mechanical assemblies, PCA control boards, pumps, motors, and fans are some examples of parts that are covered).
- Parts failures due to customer modification, accidents, or negligence are not covered.
- Electrical components damaged due to improper voltages or power surges are not covered, JBI Scientific recommends that all instruments and data systems should be placed on a suitable UPS.
- Gel blocks damaged by air bubbles, drying out, or over tightening of fittings are not covered.
- Damaged caused by natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or customer neglect are not covered.
- Consumables or consumable parts such as, sample plates and gel blocks are not covered.
- Voyager service related to 2 sample plates inserted into the Voyager are not covered.
- The Purchaser is not authorized to procure any third party services to fulfill this contract, or make purchases on the JBI Scientific account.
- Any additional services required to correct a problem not related to the service contract coverage will be billed at the current JBI Scientific rates.
